Locality is a government agency.<\/p>\n
It is one of the positive\u00a0things to come out of the Localism Bill of 2012, which was meant to encourage more local people to become engaged in community projects. \u00a0Locality is the agency through which\u00a0government funding is\u00a0be channeled to such projects.<\/p>\n
Locality have already provided Eastington with funding to help develop and publish the Neighbourhood Development Plan, and so far has given the ECLT \u00a39,750 towards the costs of our feasibility study. \u00a0If \u00a0the feasibility is positive, a further grant of up to \u00a340,000 is available to pay for the Planning Permission application process.<\/p>\n
